With December coming to an end, now is that time of year where we all become more reflective where we think back to the seminal moments from the past 12 months. These sorts of memory exercises have plenty of range from serious thoughts on family to the lighter side, say which was the craziest win of the year for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Those were all fun games to watch. I could easily pick another 20 (or more) games that could have made the top 8 in terms of entertainment value. 2024 was one of the most unpredictable seasons I can remember, and the most fun to watch. Any team could pull off an upset and almost no lead was safe.
In 2023 anyone could predict winners with 75% plus accuracy (Toronto, Winnipeg and Montreal to win in that order, Hamilton and Edmonton to lose). In 2024 some of your panelist’s weekly predictions were frequently 0 and 4 or 1 and 3. I was just as bad - I picked Argos to beat Hamilton and Bombers and Lions to beat the Argos , 0 and 7 in those games.
