The announcement from the Ottawa REDBLACKS that Jeremiah Masoli will start against the BC Lions is in many respects a small piece of news.

Pulling for Jeremiah! :grinning:

Masoli still has something to offer, even if it’s showing the young guns how to do it. He’s a pocket QB, knows when to get rid of the ball, knows when to tuck it in.

Porkypine, yes, Ottawa plays Calgary, not BC. Just like the CFL officials, it’s an amateur league, website and writers. Still lots of fun and I enjoy everything about the league even after all the flaws.

Looks to be another great week. Go Redblacks!

I’m pulling for Jeremiah to make it back. He’s had a couple of tough years. If he still has it he would be the best QB in Ottawa IMO.

Go Masoli! I remember his first games with the Cats, in 2013 (the Guelph year). His style then was mainly to tuck the ball and run straight up the gut. No fear.
He got rushed out of Steeltown, IMO a casualty of not winning that Grey Cup game. Hope he gets back to form when he is on the field. Go Masoli!
