The DB revolving door continues <!-- s:roll: -->:roll:<!-- s:roll: -->
I find that a little surprising.
Why?He was playing really good for not being here that long.All I can say is we better be trading for a DB soon, REAL soon.
If anything, I would have figured Shivers or Young might have been released.
This move surprised me too. I thought he performed well in the role assigned. Our Secondary needs help - for awhile now.
I don’t think they have played that bad this year … give it another game or two.
from Toronto.
However Young is very young(pardon the pun), and shows a good deal of promise.
His game on Sunday in Montreal was really his only bad game this year, as a rookie playing the toughest spot on the
team !!
I think he is a keeper for sure !!
I think Thomas needs to go, he played terrible on sunday. :thdn:
Als fan here, and I gotta disagree. I thought Thomas did as well as any DB could be expected to do matched up against the top receiver in the CFL when your defense wasn’t getting much pressure on Calvillo. Thomas stayed close to Richardson, he knocked down a few passes, and he did his best. It’s not his fault that Chamblin threw four-man fronts into Montreal’s double tight-end sets and didn’t mix up his coverages or his blitz looks.
Much as I HATE to agree with the enemy, I have to in this case. Well said. People don’t look at the whole picture when they decide to pick on a player.
This isn't the first game Thomas played louzy. But I will wait until after the Eskie game to make my final analysis.

I think he's done a fairly decent job for a rookie.
Overall, I agree that both Young and Thomas have been good this year; sure they've each had a bad game here and there, but overall I think they are both keepers.
Shivers, not so much. Wasn't impressed with him at HB last season, not impressed with him at safety this season.
