I'm really impressed with the way the Tiger-Cats "D" has come about this season and they are really starting to gel, Yes we lost last night but a close game against a top team and more had to do with the offense not scoring in the fourth and Luca's missed field goals than the play of the Defense which thought was tough and consistent and kept us in the game. What an improvement over last year after watching Creehan's Defense and especially the dropped interceptions, big improvement on the picks this year and good coaching.

Our Special Teams were awful allowing Larry Taylor to return kicks all night and of course our kick game which was non-existent like usual.

Keep up the good work Defense, hopefully the other teams will come together and we can get back to Winning again!

Throughout most of the game I was thinking it was the D's best performance of the year. They were put in some pretty tough circumstances at several times during the game. I'm thinking particularly of the two long returns that allowed Calgary to start deep in our end - yet we kept them out of the end zone. We even had the whiny Stamps fans booing their own offence by the second half.

I think there's a lot to be encouraged about defensively.

(Of course, if they can't fix that little late-game collapse problem, it's all moot.)

We seem to have some young players that are improving each game as opposed to previous years when we stocked up with guys that were on the decline. I can see this team peaking at the right time.
