Carleton University and football, maybe one day?

Just reading this as at below. Nice if she could get Carleton to revive their football program like at Old Dominion but then this isn’t the US:

"Like football, which was certainly not in her strategic plan when she arrived at Old Dominion University in Virginia, in 2001. The school, which shares the city of Norfolk with a major navy base and port, is particularly known for its science, engineering and other technical programs. It had dumped football about 50 years ago for money reasons, but alumni and the governing board wanted it back.

Ms. Runte was skeptical, then realized football fit into the plan under “building community.” It was one way for everyone to get together. Today, even though the team’s inaugural game is still a year away, 10,000 season tickets have already been sold, team merchandise is selling briskly and Ms. Runte knows more about the sport than almost anyone, right down to how many square feet you need when constructing locker-room showers."
