23 schools and 37 players and I've probably missed some but I have an excuse. I'm the old guy. PatLynch.

When I previewed this, it certainly didn’t look like this. The old guy has a lot to learn about that there “innernet”.

Pat Lynch (sorry about the presentation)

Great job there old timer. We can watch and scout  some of these guys in the up coming bowl games.

Keep an eye on Terrell Davis in a few years. Was light years ahead of Cornish at the high school level. Could become the next great Canadian RB.

Complete Bowl Game Line-Up

The early games have the most impact/effect on our CFL game as they're a lot of smaller, mid-major programs that traditionally supply a lot of players to the CFL.

Most of the earlier games are being carried on TSN2. The later BCS Games are on the major networks.

PatLynch & FenderGuy69, thanks for the comprehensive NCAA game postings. I love to watch US college ball for canadians but couldn never find all the games of interest. Now I can plan my Christmas/New Years schedule…

The Argos drafted a guy last year from Buffalo U. Natey Adjei SR 6'0 180 WR/DB . There is also another OT named Gabriel Barbe 6'06 298 FR listed on their roster from Mississauga.

Yes thanks to both of you for the postings. To Pat, Last season I spent many hours in a statistical ranking of Als defensive team. It was really a detailed structured piece of work but, when I entered this data on the Als website, the information, once through the system, however, was ineligible. Great data but, the way it read was useless. I'll not attempt to systematically do anything like this again. You must be frustrated as I was.
A couple of players on your listing I found interesting. One was Lokombo, likely the best player already drafted. Also I noted Homan Shahin of Rice who was drafted by the Alouettes last year. He is a DT. Should he wind up as an alouette, he will join Mike Klassen making he second DT drafted in 2003.

Thanks Pat Lynch for the work! I'm wondering how this compares with basketball and the number of Canadians playing in the NCAA for curiosity sakes? And baseball. Hard to compare because of numbers of teams and players per sport is different though.

Thanks Fender for that basketball list. I had no idea so many Canadians are down in the US with scholarships (most likely all have some sort of athletic scholarship) playing basketball and football. A lot of potential student fees lost to Canadian universities if in fact these players could have even gotten into Canadian universities with their academics. I'm sure the list of hockey players is longer than both of these sports combined.

I'll look into the exact hockey #'s for you, but in actual fact, the # of Canadians playing hockey at NCAA schools has declined relative to the other sports. NCAA hockey programs are finding more home grown American kids that are of high quality to play than they had in the past. Add to that fact that there are just not as many schools with hockey programs as there are basketball/baseball/football.

From various articles I've read, the real growth in north-south migration is in basketball and football with basketball leading the way.

I also would have thought basketball leading the way. The new immigrants in Canada come from countries where basketball is big, I have a nephew in law from Cambodia and he says basketball is very big there.

Makes sense about more Americans playing college hockey in the US, didn't think of that.

I watched Dillon Guy #65 rt guard for Buffalo last night in the bowl game on the blue turf of Boise State. He had several pancake blocks and didn't look out of place at all. Good for the Hamilton kid!

Pat Lynch (the old guy)

Todays East West Shrine Game is on the NFL Network. The two Canadians to watch are #66 Tardif OT for the East and #95 Gill DE for the West. Game time is 4 o’clock. Tardif is the #1 ranked player in the CFL Draft while Gill is #6.
