The Sugar Bowl will be interesting. It features Defensive Back Deane Leonard. The Cats selected him 18th overall in the 2021 Draft. Another Canadian in our backfield is always a good thing.

There are 6 undrafted seniors on this list . John Metchie of Alabama is out with a torn ACL . When he's healthy, he's a NFL first rounder . Five juniors are on this list and they may be draft eligible .
I have another list that I'll post prior to the CFL Draft .

Neutral zone? I thought you were exiled to the Phantom Zone, like General Zod. THAT'S why we couldn't find you - you were in an entirely different universe!

Another guy I’d be interested to see in the Sugar Bowl is Deane Leonard’s teammate Tavius Robinson. Like Leonard he is a transfer from a USports program, this time from Guelph Gryphons. Should be eligible for this year’s CFL draft. He’s listed at 265 lbs and as far as I know lines up at DE.

Pitt Panthers first TD was scored by Jared Wayne JR WR from Peterborough , Ont . in an exciting Mich. State victory 31 - 21 .
Pitt QB Kenny Pickett , a Heisman finalist sat out the game to prepare for the NFL Draft . RB Connor Heyward a senior with the Spartans didn't . He plays the game much like his dad "Ironhead" and his Steeler brother Cameron . Connor's draft stock went way up based on his play .

So who to look for in today's games?

Jesse Luketa is Penn State’s middle linebacker. Could get a look in the NFL but also is eligible for this year’s CFL draft.
As mentioned previously, Sugar Bowl tonight features a Ticat draft pick Deane Leonard at cb for Ole Miss. and Tavius Robinson is a 6’-7” defensive end who transferred from Guelph in 2020 who will also be eligible for the draft but might get a look in the NFL with his size.

Also a Hamilton kid Keegan Markgraf playing for Utah in the Rose Bowl as their long snapper. I suppose if you don’t notice him that will be a good thing. Redblacks drafted him last year.

Guelph kid who played his high school ball in the park by my house! Excited to see him play today.

Jesse Luketa is playing now in the Outback Bowl . He's playing at the MLB for Penn State and is a tackling machine . Arkansas looks like a solid opponent . It's currently 7 - 0 Razorbacks in the 2nd quarter .

Penn State’s freshman qb from Ottawa, Christian Veilleux, just came in for their previous series. Tough spot being down by 14 but had one nice run, looks like he’s got good size and a strong arm. Keep your eyes on this kid down the road.

Not a Canadian, buit did anybody notice the name of an Iowa Hawkeye WR in the Citrus Bowl today?

No mention of dad, in the bio, but both were born in the same town in Kansas.

So cool to see! His dad was a favourite of mine.

He not hurt?

Penn State lost 24 - 10 to the Razorbacks . Jesse Luketa LB and Johnathan Sutherland Safety are Penn St. seniors and CFL draft eligible .

Pat Lynch (the old dude)

Wasn’t aware of that.

Markgraf is # 93 for Utah .

He has a knee injury
