Nice to see a QB camp led by a Hec Crighton winner:
I supposed this could go in any number of threads about Canadian football, but I'll put it here.
I wonder what the announcement is going to be.

From the Football Nova Scotia FB post:
Today, Football Nova Scotia would like to recognize Dion Thomas-Hodges for all that he has done over his many years of involvement within the Nova Scotia Football Community.
Having played Pop Warner and High School football in the Chicagoland area before earning a NCAA scholarship to play first at Southern Illinois University before transferring to Northern State University, in South Dakota to complete his collegiate career. Football has been life for Dion Thomas-Hodges I for over 40 years!
After professional opportunities with NFL Europe in the Netherlands and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League ended because of injury, Dion started his coaching career back where it all started on Pop Warner fields around Chicago with the Country Club Hills Cougars. “I truly loved playing the game, relationships and camaraderie with my teammates and associated accolades were great and I wouldn’t change a thing. However, being able to coach up the next generations of athletes and use this great game to affect young people’s lives and hopefully make a positive influence in it, is way more rewarding than any touchdown I’ve scored or championships won!”
A constant in the Nova Scotia football community, Dion has worn many hats within the FNS organization over the last decade plus. Whether advocating for our athletes as a member of the Board of Directors or patrolling the sidelines coaching kids up, growing the game here in NS is always at the forefront for Dion.
Dion has guided the Auburn Drive Eagles to the last two NS High School Division 1 football Championship games, going undefeated and winning in 2021 before coming up a little short in this years tilt with the perennial powerhouse Citadel Phoenix. The Eagles are well positioned to continue being one of the top programs in the Province.
Football Nova Scotia would like to congratulate Dion Thomas-Hodges I on being the first African Canadian Head Coach to win a D1 provincial championship and thank for his continued support and contributions to growing the game of football here in Nova Scotia.
An interesting event coming up, as posted on the Football Saskatchewan FB page:
Football Saskatchewan is accepting applicants for the Head Coach and Assistant Coaches of the 2023 6 Nations Indigenous Team Saskatchewan.
The Head Coach will lead our Saskatchewan team at the Alberta/Saskatchewan Challenge. The 2023 event will be held in Edmonton, July 10-14th, 2023. The event will be a 1 game 6-aside event between Saskatchewan and Alberta.

Some highlights from the 2022 Ontario Summer Football League:
The West Coast junior varsity prospects game is on now. Had no idea it was coming up, but here's the youtube:
The Varsity level game starts at 1 PM EDT
I think the standouts from this game will get invited to the national prospects game, which should get more media attention. IIRC, it was even aired on TSN with Sanchez and Dunnigan as featured coaches.
Nice INT:
And some photos from practice yesterday:
