I didn't notice much about it on this board ... but a HUGE round of applause is deserved for a fellow Mount Allison Mountie Alum - Eric LaPointe, for his induction into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.

CONGRATULATIONS Eric - you were one of the finest CIS backs to ever play the game, and you represented yourself well in the Professional ranks. A great football career that you can be very proud of !!

Good for him and congrats.

It's a shame Hamilton didn't keep Eric longer than the one season.
He played very well for us and had a great rushing average with the club in that one year. (and helped win the Cup!)

anyway, kudos to arguably the best University football player of all time. :thup:
