#15 - A - Johnny Aprile WR Queen's (#12)
B - Tyson Pencer OL Washington State (#9-20)
C - Keenan MacDougall DB Saskatchewan (#14)
D - Bryce McCall Defensive back Saskatchewan (#12-20)

#39 - A - Dylan Hollohan CB St. Francis Xavier

E - Ryan Granberg RB Queen's
F - Nathan Riva RB Western University
G - Kyle Quinlan QB McMaster

I agree. Take Heenan. I'm sold on this and I can;t see why we would think about Chambers?

#15 - if we can get Aprile at 15 spot I think we would be considered lucky?

McDougall - Saskie kid and he's been a late bloomer. Started slow and is now getting good recognition? But can he play corner in CFL? Is he that good on teams to draft him? Do we need that extra depth at safety with butler and Newman? McDougall will likely get to play another year at U of S but will get drafted!

McCall - He's a fast started and has not shown the continued upside. His evaluation at e-camp was pretty bad. People talk about him being really football smart and he'll need every ounce of this in the CFL to makeup for his lack of size to be a LB and too slow to play DB. Here to.............would need to be exceptional on teams. Don't be surprised if he does not get drafted and gets signed as a FA right after the draft............byt the Riders. Remember............Rob Bagg did not get drafted and signed as FA because Austin loved the kid!

#39 - you think Westerman will still be around that late?

I wish we had more picks between 10-30 spots? But we got odell Willis! Oops, we'll wait and see how his hearing goes May 22nd.

yeah...the general thought process makes sense to me and all, but...

  • Johnny Aprile - I also believe he will be gone by #15...if not..hurray...
  • Tyson Pencer - no...not if you take Heenan 1st overall. sure...if you don't or you trade the 1st overall or ssomething
  • Keenan MacDougall - I will be shocked if he is still around past 12th pick...I would probably actually take him over Aprille if he is actually.
  • Bryce McCall - yeah, potentially, but I also think grubber is spot on with his assesment

For 39th I would say:

  • Jabar Westerman (if around still...I too can not see it, but hey, that is why there are backup picks)
  • Sébastien Lévesque
  • Dylan Hollohan
  • Jordan Brescacin WR

Tyson Pencer is a LT and he is huge: 6'8" 330lbs. Heenan will backup Best at Guard. Left Tackle is a wide open battle at camp.

And yes MacDougall and Westerman may not be around, but we should draft them if they are. They fit our needs.

Needed Canadian backups: WR, DL, S/CB

We need a new Canadian receiver. Sisco and Mchenry may not be enough to backup Getzlaf and Bagg.

If Woldu starts at CB, we need to find a backup Canadian CB (I don't know how good Graig Newman is). We also could use a backup Canadian Safety for Butler. NI Safety Patrick may have to move elsewhere.

McCullough and S. Williams may trade a starting LB position, no need to draft a Canadian LB.

We have no Canadian backup for Shologan. Westerman could be groomed at DT.

I think Aprile will be a good receiver in the CFL. I would pick him over Bamba.

I must have had some numbers crossed. It looks like Jabar Westerman may go in the first round.

I still think we need a Canadian DT. Maybe consider drafting him at #15 if available. I don't mind risking the #39 pick on whichever DT is available, roll the dice.

Feel free to post your own picks...or make some adjustments to my list. Last chance for draft predictions.

Could have drafted Aprile or MacDougall at #15. I hope Hurl and Régimbald-Gagné make an impact.

Say goodbye to a our second round pick next year.

On the bright side, Bamba at #39. Thats a nice pick-up.
