TORONTO — The BC Lions are going to have to find a way to fight without their leader.
Vernon Adams Jr. won’t play for the Leos as they travel to Edmonton to take a surging Elks on Sunday at Commonwealth Stadium in Week 10 looking to stay atop the West Division standings.
I picked Edmonton but I’m eager to see how Dolegala performs with a better team. He made his share of mistakes last year but he was playing for a team that gave up after Labour Day and had incompetent coaching.
He also looked good at times too. Probably has the deepest arm in the CFL. if they let him use it and if he uses it accurately he could be exciting to watch.
Not worried about our QB. Our D with Rugamba and Debaillie back will be huge and Cottoy is also back.
BC’s real issue is their run game…or their lack of run game really.

Yet Dunnigan said that his weakest part is his arm, he can’t throw long. The panel agreed that he throws accurate shorter passes and lacks the long ball.
I saw him overthrow a few last night and he had one bomb that was on the money to Hatcher, I believe. Give him some time and practise and a chance to get synced with his receivers and his long shots may become more accurate. He can sure huck it far!
