Just like my Cats, I am done for this season.
I finished 2nd last year but the way my team is playing I'm tired of
trying to pick the winners. Good luck to all! Thanks Abbey for all this!
See y'all next year

I’m going to hold out on my picks until I see what qb is actually healthy in Hamilton. Normally I’d say they would put it together and come up with a big game at home on Labour Day, But they could be playing their 4 th string guy next week - as ugly as that second half was on Friday, it could be even nastier coming up.

Ottawa (2-8) at Montreal (4-6). The Als are rested and playing at home, but Ottawa is coming off a big road win and was one dropped TD catch away from changing the outcome of the last meeting. And I really don't know if Montreal has become the type of team that could win three games in a row. Anyway, I have to start making up ground in the pool, so here's hoping this long shot comes through...

EDIT: Changing my above pick to Montreal. This is the pick on paper that makes the most sense, and I have to get over my aversion to picking my team in the pool (if we win, double amazing; if we lose, double awful). Thanks Abby!

Winnipeg (10-1) at Saskatchewan (6-5). I don't think WPG's last win was convincing at all, and the Riders seem to have found their mojo. SSK by a field goal. Well aware this is another long shot...

Toronto (5-5) at Hamilton (3-8). The only pick I reserve the right to change when updated injury info is available. Right now, on paper, I don't see how Hamilton wins this with Shiltz out and Evans a basket case with no confidence.

Edmonton (3-8) at Calgary (6-4). Probably my safest pick of the week.

Almost had my first perfect week last week until the last game. Ottawa can't do it twice in a row on the road. Cornelius' wheels are falling off. Toronto has Hamilton right where we want them. Confusion at the QB position and a defensive secondary that we've figured out. Winnipeg is playing above their heads and Fajardo is on a roll.

Good luck all.

Thanks Abbey

1-3 last week, sinking like a sunset. :slightly_frowning_face:

Ott--RB screw me when I pick them, screw me when I don't, can't win.
Winn--Sask barely beat Lions 3rd string QB, nuff said.
Tor--Cats woes will continue, more witches to burn, I'm thinking.
Cal-- The obvious pick, but you never know.... TA

Taking home teams.
Mtl: a little concerned now that the owner bailed on the team.
Sk: why not, its labour day
Ham: Toronto is just as inconsistent
Cal: Edm slowly improving, but Cal takes it.
