Byron Parker Released

Looks like time's up for Byron Parker. You can only hide in zone coverage for so long until you get exposed. Back in 2011 it was obvious that Parker was hopeless in man coverage. BC figured that out in 2012 - - who can forget that legendary performance in the WDF? - - and the Als came to the same conclusion after last season.

But big ups to Parker for milking two more seasons worth of paycheques from a couple of clueless teams. I reality, his career was finished in 2011.

I always liked'em. Played good for T.O. If he picks up another contract, congrats, if not, best of luck.

Parker would make a great safety with his ball-hawking skills.
