Has anyone heard why the Lions aren't using Buck Pierce as the #2 QB? I honestly thought he played great in relief of Casey Printers/Dave Dickenson last yr. So far Jarious Jackson has looked really unimpressive except on 3rd and 1 (isn't that supposed to be an automatic conversion for an effective running back-i guess thats another discussion topic),
I thought a few weeks ago they swapped Pierce and Jackson around...Pierce was Number 2.
They were still using Jackson for short yardage situations though.
Yes, they did switch to Pierce but in short yardage Jackson is used because of his size.
