The teams make for the most interesting news, outside of the Board of Governors, etc, and the Rules Committee.
The Blue Bombers are a story on account of supplanting Calgary as the leaders of the West. That’s more than just team specific: it’s a matter involving at least two teams, specifically, but virtually every team tangentially.
The Alouettes are a hot story. Khari Jones is unquestionably “the flavour of the month”, as he rediscovers the magic he showed in his quarterbacking prime.
I was astonished to learn this week that Jones passed for forty six touchdowns in 2002. That’s when he was with Winnipeg, but it is a story worthy of League-wide attention.
The best teams in the CFL are probably getting most of the mention in the CFL Forum.
I suppose it might be annoying, granted.
But it’s also where the exposure is greatest.
…when I wrest control of this site from sully’s hands I’m doing away with the individual team forums and having just one giant free-for-all forum…the fact that this has been my plan since 2005 and I’m no closer to realizing it shouldn’t mean anything…
I think that the forums are incredible, and I’m mighty glad to have the CFL in Ottawa.
