3 of the Als 5 wins have come against Ottawa.against the rest of the league their record is 2-4
So what? They are 5-4 and in 2nd place and that's what counts.
Richard
In absolute terms yes ... but in terms of judging the team versus the rest of the league it has some relevance ... next 4 weeks will the telling (TO ... Saskatchewan ... Winnipeg ... Winnipeg) ... best chance against Winnipeg would seem to be that they may have clinched first-place by then.
Greg Quick has to get some kudos for the defensive line's complete turnaround. I am not a Quick fan, but credit where it's due. Maybe he's one of those guys who excels as a position coach but who doesn't have what it takes to be a coordinator.
Thanks for explaining that to him.
There is very little that Richard needs to have explained to him ... and I doubt this is one of them ... there are just different perspectives ... he just is focused on the "now"
Nick Usher looks bad in this game, and he looked awful rushing Fajardo on that one play.
Als have a choice of Lukes on the practice roster ... Anthony Luke and Junior Luke ... as well as Christopher Favoroso ... starting to lean towards the anti-Usher crowd ... Junior would also allow and extra American to dress.
Nick Usher is playing well. The defence kept the Alouettes in the game.

John Bowman has been signed as the BC LIONS defensive line coach.
