Breaking News... Pluto Punted

Pluto has been removed from the list of planets. Astronomers cite its small size in relation to its fellow planets. Pluto's size and speed has led CFL insiders to muse about its fit for the CFL. CFL insider, bon vivant and man about town McMahon was unavailable for comment but another source tells us McMahon is huddling with Hamilton Tiger Cat officials in an attempt to broker a deal and bring Pluto to the Steel City. This is unconfirmed.

No more : Man Very Early Made Jars Stand Up Nearly Perpendicular.

How will the Cats explain this loss?

Oh no ! What will this mean for Goofy and Mickey ??

Worse yet: it has to share time with Xena and Gabrielle.

Pluto was also waived because it hasn't been able to clear the neighbourhood around its orbit

It would not be any help on a team that already has trouble clearing its offensive and defensive backfields of opposing players.

Pluto gets punted before it get a chance to complete a single orbit around the sun. its orbit is 248 years.

Hmm, that would make a Plutonian football season roughly 120 years long. We would still have lots of time to turn around our season.

Imagine the number of speculative posts that would be generated on Ticats.ca in that time. 8)

too bad they cant punt katz, lancaster, and paopao outta here.

I heard this morning a quote for the wife of the guy who discovered it.

She was asked what she thought of the demotion.

"Its still there, do what you want with it!"

Apparently Pluto's demotion is an attempt to keep the Solar system with 8 planets in sympathy with the 8 team CFL.

There's no word on whether or not Pluto will be allowed to return next year if Ottawa returns.

Is Pluto related to Chuck Tack?
