Brayden Lenius returns to the Roughriders

REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed National wide receiver Brayden Lenius.

Lenius (six-foot-five, 225 pounds) returns to the Green and White after signing with the Atlanta Falcons in January. The 2021 season was a breakout for the 25-year-old, who caught 37 passes for 471 yards and four touchdowns and started in all 14 regular-season games. He added another six receptions for 43 yards in two playoff games.

Now they just need 4 or 5 olinemen so Fajardo has time to get the ball out to his receivers

Shhhh. We're trying to keep that info under wraps.

That's the only thing the Riders NEED to do between now and the end of this season if they want to both 'host' and 'participate' in their own Cup. Please do NOT feed the bears... or give Riders management any more obvious clues. We need them to stay clueless.

Our GM was trained by Brendan Taman. Its a safe bet he will remain clueless.

I'm a little worried how our undersized DB's do vs the bigger WR's Sask has
Ours are probably the smallest in the league, averaging around 5'10 175
And Sask might have the biggest WR group, most over 6' & 200

Ahhh Taman, I remember the press saying he had all his notes on napkins and he took them when he left here!

Taman was the absolute very best when it came to implementing the 'Clueless' style of management. No one could've done it more effectively than he... although being clueless himself he'd probably not be aware of his own genius.

I thought he left his napkins and that they were used to clean up his mess.

Kyle Walters would've needed drop sheets to soak up the foul smelling mess that Taman left him.

I could not agree more!!! Riders Olineman are a joke. I heard they are being leased out as turnstyles when the exhibition comes to the city.
Fajardo is a good QB but is shell shocked by the amount of time he only has. He gets the ball in his hands and two guys are right on him!! No wonder he is fidgity in the pocket, who wouldnt be. Riders GM ODay dropped the ball big time on that area of the team, shoring up the Oline so time can be had to get rid of the ball.

The Queen City Ex has come and gone long time ago so your joke isn’t relevant lol but I get your point

And this just in (help is on the way)...

Story says his Riders contract is expired. He's a free agent who can go anywhere.

Will ODay even pursue him?

He knows your system plus he's Canadian... why the heck not bring him in? Doesn't Fajardo need all the help he can get up front right now?

Oh I agree fully. We need him desperately. Unfortunately that doesn’t mean we're going to get him.

Actually Maaax he knew McAdoo’s system – not Maas’. Regardless, much as he’s needed I doubt he’s headed our way. From the article below:

Update:
Seahawks beat writer Gregg Bell believes that the team is hoping that Shepley clears waivers so they can add him to their practice squad.

They're adding every position but the one they need. I'm pretty sure we need a whole new administration. The current bunch do nothing but make idiotic mistakes.

Going, going... Gone.
Practice squad. What a waste of talent.

Hard to blame the guy. Probably better money on the PR down there, and he's definitely closer to his NFL dream (and paydays) as he'll already be in the system there

But I do wish he was here. Riders could sure use him. (Unless he were to pick a different CFL team, of course)
