Figured I'd do a little research on Brandon Rutley to kill some time before kick-off. I was presently surprised when I watched his highlight video, he has great acceleration and he is very elusive.
At San Jose State, Rutley ran for 903 yards and 12 touchdowns in his senior year. He also was a kick return specialist in his freshman and sophomore year then focusing more on punt returns his final two seasons. In his freshman year he averaged 26.7 yards on kick returns and his longest on the season was 59 yards.
Sounds like Rutley could be a useful player in the game tonight. Hopefully we will see him back on kick-offs which might have been one of the main reasons the Cats signed him as Chevy and Giggy just arent cutting it back there (More so Giggy).
