Six weeks after becoming a Grey Cup champion, Brandon Banks’ time with the Argos comes to an end.

he posted the other night on twitter thanking the argos for bringing him his championship.

many people asked if he was retiring...to which he did not respond.

I think he will sign a one day contract to retire a Tiger Cat.

I would laugh if he signed with Winnipeg.

This should not surprise anyone.
He has caught his last pass in the CFL.

He had a good run with the 'Cats. A couple of shots at a Grey Cup . . . but no cigar !!

What? No cigar? Grey Cup ring and MOP honours!

Good riddance!

Maybe the cats sign him for his veteran presence....as that was gravely missing in the 2022 Ticats.

Speedy B will go down as one of the great cats of all time.

I hope if he comes back he can leave this kind of stuff to himself (Pre Grey Cup interview)
“I feel like this is the first time I’m approaching the game and I feel like I don’t have to do everything,” Banks said. “I’ve got other guys on the team like Kurleigh, Ambles, Andrew (Harris), guys like that. In Hamilton, I just felt like if I didn’t do it, I didn’t know what would happen. It was like it was all on me.”

he’s not coming back.

I don’t even think for a ‘one day’ retirement thing.

I’m sure his childish, unsportsmanlike BS grew very tiresome. I would be terribly disappointed if the team brought him back.

Boy, I used to be torn to bits on here for saying things like this about him

Yep. He was always a selfish player constantly trying to insert an I in the word team

I would like him to sign a 1-day and retire as a Ticat.
Banks said it himself, he was #4-5 go-to Argo. Averaged 33 yards a game.

TIme to move on for Speedy B.
If Cats wouldn't sign him last year they sure wouldn't sign him a year later.
