What happened to Quinton Porter? I thought he was in Winnipeg.

Just read on the Sun Site that we signed Jason Boltus and I am angry about this decision especially after Burke said that the new QB will be experienced QB. Is this seriously the best we can do?
This guy is NOT experienced and even more raw then Hall and Goltz.
Seriously we sign a 27 year old QB who was behind Porter on Hamilton's depth chart Roll Eyes
His career stats are:
Pass attempts - 15
Passes Completed - 5
Passing completion % - 33%
Yards Passed - 48
Passer Rating - 43.2
I do not like this signing one but and hope it is for insurance purposes only due to injuries!!
I think it's going to be difficult to attract a quarterback like McPherson as long as Winnipeg continues to play the quarterbacking merry go round and have Fragile Pierce waiting in the wings.
The coaches need to pick a name and allow that person to grow into the job, as painful as that may be. This constant benching and switching of their signal callers is killing their confidence and the confidence of their teammates.
As Dr. Phil likes to say, "how's that workin' for ya".
Neither defense or offense is much good. At this rate, Tim Burke will either be demoted to DC or be gone by the end of the season.
