Bombers look dominant in shutout win over Lions

Thar be quite poor strategy I say, arrrggh. The crew don’t like it at all too.
You be now in their sites too, arrrggh.
:face_with_raised_eyebrow:

No way, for all Lucky gives you now even after that long time away, keep him going now because the Bombers are anything but assured to make the playoffs.

Of course the mighty (once again) Bombers will make the playoffs. The fix is in. I put an extra five bucks in the bribe envelope along with a Tim Horton’s coupon and sent it to Randy Ambrosie at CFL Headquarters.

It’s a lock. :beaver:

Well put. It’s nice for us Bomber fans to see the old dominant team back two games in a row. It would have been a lot nicer to have won both of those games.

The Bombers are still behind the eight ball of course, but in this season of parity anything is possible. If they keep playing like this I can see them being the third place team no one wants to play come playoff time.

You’re correct I misread the count , the stats show 11 rush 9 pass & 2 penalty total 22. Plus BC had 3 rush 1 pass 4 total

Calgary stuck it to BC 2 weeks before ! True that BC was severely beaten by the Bombers but until it happens by the Bombers again the vote stands at UNDECIDED. We all (well maybe not all) thought Calgary had turned the corner when they defeated the Lions, but look what happened in Ottawa.
I think that something is wrong with Adams (who isn’t playing like himself) and until the bombers can dominate the next game like they did against the lions it is more that BC lost because Adams wasn’t there rather than the Bombers dominated and are the team of the last 3 years.

Perhaps you missed the part where I said…“Dominant would be correct. It’s only one in a row”

So much for the short week being a killer to teams

I have always considered that to be the weakest of excuses for losing, along with travel and time zone changes. Time after time the team on a short week comes out ahead. The Bombers in fact did it to BC a year or two ago when they were on a short week, starting the game with three straight touchdowns. A short week isn’t great if you need a little more time for an injury to get better, but that’s about it. Let’s not forget that coming off a bye week sometimes causes rust as well.

No, in my opinion the major reason a team wins or loses a game is how they play that day. If any off field factor is significant I would say that is injuries.

Perhaps you really meant “Dominant would be INCORRECT” It’s only one in a row. LOL

( _cue the corny embarrassing saskatchewan roughriders football stadium music … :notes::musical_note:

We’re really rolling, we’re on our way now, you know we can’t be denied the rest of you just can’t hide, we got that Bombers Pride, Bombers Pride a feeling you just can’t hide, Bombers Pride, Bombers Pride :notes::musical_note:

Go Bombers Go! Go Bombers Go!

BC Lions_ 4 first downs full 60 minute game, thats unheard of in Pro Football. Kudos Winnipeg Blue Bombers 4 a great game plan and execution of that plan.

A shut out is a dominating performance. Get over that too if it bothers you, or better yet, see if your team can do it or even come close to dominating another team.

No, not so fast, that’s simply wrongful thinking by any measure in football. I’m not having it.
