Bombers hold off Riders late-game push for Labour Day win

I said the hit was not clean.
Player was fined and suspended.
It’s last year, move on.

You’ve made an attempt to be right by making inaccurate statements and called me stupid. But you think I should move on? Maybe start with an accurate statement that you don’t need to deflect by telling the other person to move on.

Sorry you misunderstood. I, in no way say “you” complained, though now you seem to be complaining about not complaining. What I did say, many Roughriders fans complained, I also complimented Patterson for “not” going to the media. You said Zach will, that’s just conjecture on your part. Well have to wait to see.

Edit to add content:
You suggest Zach is just selling the helmet to helmet hit. As a good, perhaps the greatest salesman…he showed up in the second half in his street clothes.:upside_down_face:

You know what, you’re right. I am assuming based on his past and I shouldn’t. And thanks for clarifying.

Brandon Bridge and Zach Collaros (you might know him). Oshea is no saint as a coach or a player.

The great Kreskin has read Collaros’ mind and pronounced that he is treated differently than all other players.
All hail the great Kreskin!

Brown will get a game just based off his second offense this season.

You’re doing a terrible job of taking your own advice…move along little doggie

Based on his history it’s a fair guess. Plus I checked in before I made the comment.

Waiting on CFL Head Office/Commissioner Randy Ambrosie’s statement regarding the headshot by the Saskatchewan Roughriders #90 plus the fact no security in the stands at Mosaic Stadium (Mod edit: insulting an entire fan base) Major consequential CFLeague actions via fines and suspensions forthcoming for the Roughriders organization, what’s the holdup CFL Commissioner Ambrosie?

My reference to him selling the hit was last year LDC with the Pete Robertson headbutt. The shot Brown took in him last night I’m sure rung his bell hard. I think people are confusing my comments hence the excessive defensiveness.

Also to be clear about my position with Zach: I through the riders treated him like garbage when they released him in 2018(?). While o wouldn’t go so far as to say I was cheering for the bombers I was happy to see how his story played out that year standing on top reminding everyone how good of a QB he is.

You did say that Brown should not be punished for what he did, so basically you`re saying that shouldnt be a penalty.

I did not say that.

If you were watching the game closely, you might have noticed that there was no roughing the passer on the late helmet to helmet hit. Yet on the very next series, they call roughing the passer on a late slide by Harris where he was tackled cleanly from behind.

Fair enough, I do remember 2023 LDC, but not enough to disagree re: that play.

That’s very sporting of you…I to look at the bigger picture, the CFL is more important than an individual team…a good/great player lifts the entire CFL, I just congratulated Ottawa when they signed Rasheed Bailey. Would’ve rather he returned to Winnipeg, but still good for Ottawa and Bailey.

Note to Trevor Harris: Don’t throw the ball directly at your opponents

Ottawa lost their 2 top WRs and looked bad in their last outing. They had no choice but to sign Rasheed Bailey.
Winnipeg, on the other hand hasn’t had a WR drop since early season. Just got Wolitarski back, Lawler starting to look like himself. Ontario Wilson seems a tad better than Bailey (younger, too) and Clercicus is solid as a Canadian WR. Bailey was an option they declined - more due to their own rigid salary cap vs. Bailey’s abilities.
Besides, BC is going bonkers over the cap in an unrestrained effort to win the Grey Cup in front of a home audience. Even if they’re a few hundred thousand over the cap limit they have a primary asset to trade in the off-season. Name - Vernon Adams, Jr. and they’ll easily get a 1st round pick, prolly another pick and perhaps some surplus cash to replace the picks lost and monies spent on guys like Rourke & Matt Betts.

CFL stat Fact;

There Is a highly renumerated quarterback in the league who has only 6 regular season wins in 2 years of service with his respective team. That doesn’t bode well to getting to a Grey Cup Championship and winning it.

Well the league doesn’t agree with your moronic assessment and fined the player for the hit. You need to retire from commenting, at least here.

I knew you would say that.
