CALGARY — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers were the ones left standing after the dust settled on the 19-18 defensive battle fought against the Calgary Stampeders at McMahon Stadium on Friday night.
As yawners go this was a doozy. But it came down to the wire and it had some of us on the edge of wakefulness. I for one am grateful for the two points that we didn’t deserve and I promise not to brag too much about our victory tomorrow after I’ve had a chance to mock the Stampeders offense for somehow managing to play worse than ours. It wasn’t easy but they courageously did it. 
That…describes it pretty much bang on. Will Maier ever score an offensive TD again? I’m beginning to wonder.
Tonight the Bombers sucked, it sucks to suck as a team. But even when the Bombers sucked, Calgary sucked even more than the Bombers sucked. It sucks to think, if we played any other team the Bombers would have sucked and loss the game, and that would suck more. During the game I sucked back 4 beer, and that sucked because they tasted bitter because the game sucked…
But the Bombers won so I can change my sucky avatar to a Bombers avatar again…I’m good. Lol
