They sure are.

After 6 games into the season the Bombers have scored More points than any team in the league WHILE allowing the fewest points of any team in the league. I can't remember the last time this happened.

Not many teams are afraid of our offense (yet) but our defense scares most everyone not living in Winnipeg. So I have to believe it's the defense that's mainly responsible for what's happening here. A really good defense makes an offense look better than it really is.

IMHO This article is bang on. :+1:

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have a very well coached team. In addition GM Kyle Walters and his scouting staff have done an amazing job of turning this Bomber franchise into 2019 Grey Cup champions and a contender for first place in this 2021 season. They have a very good test in Week 7 versus the Edmonton Elks in Edmonton, in the very tough mighty West division ! :wc: :top: :canada: :football:

The sick thing is that the Bombers still have 4 defensive starters injured and at one time had 6, although none of them were named Jefferson, Jeffcoat or Bighill. Their second defensive twelve might be in the top 3 defenses in the league.
