How could you NOT love the CFL after a game like that? Regardless of who you cheer for.

Yeah. I’d be ticked if anyone who called themselves a football fan wasn’t entertained by last night’s high octane offerings.

When your boss is a Rider fan, and a game like this occurs, it is the best! Wonder how long the Bombers can continue to dominate while still giving up high scores - 31 to Hamilton in Week 1, and another 27 in Week 2.

As long as we keep facing teams that plan to run the ball from the get-go then we’ll continue to jump out to early leads and coast to double digit victories while they struggle to play catch up. Our passing attack is scary good right now with last year’s MOP slinging the rock to the league’s best set of receivers (BC’s might be close). What’s even scarier is the realization that once Kenny Lawler gets into the lineup we’ll be… even better?!

But would that even be necessary? I keep thinking that if we can already score 40 points a game with the wheels that we have then WHY NOT trade Lawler to some needy team like Montreal and get our defense some star-studded help in return?

I could handle being the Oilers of the 80’s. No defence but an offense that could outscore anyone. They won a lot of Cups with that blueprint. The Bombers were 5 for 5 in the red zone yesterday and look like they will be hard to stop all year.

How lazy of a writer do you have to be to not take the 10 seconds it would take to look up that no. 80 for the Bombers is Janarion Grant.
