This deserves its own thread.
Is that his throwing leg ?
Here’s what the coach had to say about on Bo’s boot:
Well that didn’t take very long.
It’s just swelling and the boot is precautionary, per Milanovich, who also expects that BLM should be ready to practice on Monday.
But if it is swelling there is damage…trouble a brewing.
A 34 year old QB coming off an injury filled 2023 season arriving to camp in a walking boot is horrible news.
5’10" Taulia Tagovailoa reported to the Seattle rookie camp last weekend, was released and headed to Arizona’s camp now…come on down (Or up) to the HAMMER Taulia.
ridiculous.
he continues to be boverrated.
how did we get swindled into this mess…
(well I knOw)
The lasting legacy.
No. Its time for full-on panic and second guessing.
I know it’s not news any Cats fan wanted, but it’s also not even close to indicating that he’ll miss any game time to start the season. Let’s see what happens. Milanovich didn’t seem too concerned and he’d have every reason to be if something serious had occurred.
My unsubstantiated observer guess is that BLM will be fine to start the regular season, even if he has to miss a day of practice here and there.
based on his past performance here, you’d have expected (or at least I would have) Bo to have come into camp at the best shape and condition his body would allow.
instead…
whatever.
Thank god we have Powell. They really need to keep him protected.
Maybe they can bubble wrap him .
Maybe spending to much time on the golf course.
Yea, with the Leaf players.
He can’t afford to miss any time. He needs to get his sh*t together, and now.
I’m not underestimating the seriousness of needing a walking boot.
Very frustrating for him, the team and the fans.
just my opinion for what it is worth, to me Mitchel has done nothing special since he has been in the hammer and I don’t see any value in keeping him around. I thought at first he was kind of our savior but man was i ever wrong.
I don’t even think how serious anything is today is relevant.
Fully recovered, fully healthy, ready to go QBs dont show up in walking boots.
Could it be precautionary? Sure.
But it’s far from common.
No wonder he took a salary cut. He knew no other team wanted him
Let’s sucker Hamilton into giving me one more year. Can we just give the job to Powell Bo is done and put bo on IR where he belongs
I do feel good about the fact that Powell started 9 games last year and looked more comfortable as the year progressed. He was even starting to use his legs more.
Maybe this is an unexpected blessing? Like in Ottawa, having Masoli as a back up and mentor to Brown.
I’m trying to be the glass half full guy this morning.
