Blue Bombers Roster Purge

So it seems the Blue Bombers have decided to unload players. My question to the masses is.

What Player or Players if any would you like the Black and Gold acquire off the Blue Bomber Roster?

My choices would be.

Shabazz, Siddeeq
Walls, Gavin
Johnson, Jovon
Brown, Doug

Sorry here is the current roster minus the injured list, hence Barrin Simpson not listed.

Doug Brown would have to be my choice even though he's up there in football years.

Shebazz started great but the excitment of a new season wore off and now he's average.

I love catalogue shopping and all, but I think the exercise is a bit abstract. LOL

Doug Brown wouldn't come here due to his attachment to hot water in the visitor's dressing room. We have a heritage to protect, so ice water it is!

Oski Wee Wee,

Russ

Yeah, can you imagine if Doug Brown got traded here.

That would be one of the funnier things to see/hear.

Brown is too old. We have a good group of young guys. If we want a vet, we need a guy who is in their late 20s or early 30s. It's tough to build with a guy who's already long in the tooth.

Our dline is doing fine now anyways.

Reid, Fred.

Bingo

Are you saying these guys are available?

I'd take Jovon Johnson. Our secondaries been lacking interceptions as of late and this guy is goood.

Gavin Walls,

He's having an off year compared to years past, and might be available for relatively little. He has been a top 3 DE in the CFL in the last 5 years, and a change of scenery may be just what he needs to get back to his all star form.

I'm telling you here and now Shibazz is worth a look see he's the guy who while playing safety put Jesse out for the season.
He's quick and tough and Young and would look real good on our roster. Someone in one of the last posts stated that he started off hot but is now average, tell me what would you be like playing for the train wreck that is the Bombers.
Go get him OB

Heh. Actually Walls is playing better than he did last year. Most folks in Winnipeg thought last year was his off year. IMO he has also played better this year but I agree that he has not been playing as well as he had in 07 and earlier.

Shabazz was the best player move the 09 Bombers made. He is versatile fast and I don’t even think he has even hit his peak yet. I was very surprised Edmonton was willing to trade him.
