Hey everyone, there is a new book called Blindsided that you should read. It debunks myths like the left tackle is important.
I am about 1/3 of the way through the book and am just wrapping the section up on coaching.
Coaches are classified as schemers or personnel men and that talent in a scheme will rise above no matter coaching or schemes.
Just though it was interesting.

do you figure the world is taking a day off because of Ron's death? I have a lot of respect for him as a football player and as a person, but as I said, its not like the world stops for him.
That does sound like a pretty interesting read.
From the synopsis on the web site it looks like a good read. Sounds like Joyner does a little NFL bashing of his own.

That pool of narcissim is quite shallow.
If you want a great football book to read then get Dark Side of the Game by Tim Green.
