24 seasons and 6 super bowls.
Many think he will end up in Atlanta or Dallas.
You’re the first person I have heard mention Dallas. That’s what I was thinking as well. If McCarthy doesn’t win the Super Bowl this year he may be gone. Ready made winning situation for Belichik to walk into as well. Dallas has a very talented roster. They just need a coach that knows how to get the best out of it and I don’t think that is McCarthy.
A couple insiders claim that Jerry Jones has wanted Bill as head coach for over 10 years. So really anything short of a super bowl victory will likely see McCarthy fired.
The Cowboys though have their highly regarded DC Dan Quinn close at hand.
What the Cowboys need is a GM whose name isn’t Jerry Jones.
This says it all.
BB is gonna bring in Nathan Rourke as a backup to whatever team he is coaching next year.
Atlanta Falcons have hired Los Angeles Rams Defensive Coordinator Raheem Morris as their next head coach by a person familiar with the decision told The Associated Press. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the team had not made an announcement.
Yep. Two more head coach vacancies filled in addition to Harbaugh for the Chargers. Where will Bill end up?

According to analyst Craig Carton - There is talk about Bill Belichik (on his next destination) who may become the next Head Coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. At the end of the season Andy Reid may perhaps retire. But then again who knows.
I don’t know whether there is any truth to this but it would make sense if Reid retired. And it would make sense for Reid to retire, especially if they win it all again this year. He has significant health issues and it seems he is rushed to the hospital to deal with one health difficulty or another every season, including this year.
Just think how lucky a coach would have to be to have as QB’s the GOAT in Brady and the current GOT (greatest of today) as his QB’s.
I can’t see BB fitting in with the Swiffer crowd and Mahomes loonie family.
From ESPN’s Jeff Darlington - It appears Lions Ben Johnson (offensive Coordinator) could/will be on his way to the Washington Commanders as their next Head Coach, whenever this epic Detroit Lions season ends. If so, that would leave Seattle as the only team left for a Head Coaching job. Wait and see I suppose.
I’m reading plenty of word that Belichick is just going to sit out 2024. I can’t say I blame him.
In doing so, it’s only a matter of time before an even better opportunity pops up for him.
Good news for Cowboys fans. Perhaps Jones will wake up and dump McCarthy after another year of playoff failure. Hello GOAT!
Maybe Jones will wake up and fire himself but I doubt that will happen.
Yeah funny thing with Jones. Clearly the GOAT of sports owners. His innovation and money making ideas are second to none and for some time now he has made the Cowboys into the most valuable sports franchise in the world. He is as responsible as much as anyone for the financial success of the NFL and has been brilliant in coming up with innovations to maximize TV money.
Yet this does not translate into knowing football players or being a GM or hiring coaches. I wish he would stay out of the football operations side of things.
Yup success at the $$$$$ end but not st the championship
end
Many people criticize Peter Pocklington when he owned the Oilers for his business practices etc but the bottom line is he hired Glen Sather to run that hockey club and it resulted in 5 championships. Maybe Jones should do the same.
