The Alouettes playing in their retro unis last week made me nostalgic for the 80s where I think ours was perfect. I miss the bumble bee sleeves and the right balance of white, black and gold. It brings back memories of Covington, Walker and Zambiasi (to name a few). I wish the organization would ditch the current atrocious grey hammer alternates and bring back a part of our proud past.

I never liked how low the logo is on those gold helmets, but other than that it’s great.

As the sleeves got shorter, and shorter, the TiCats’ unis lost much of what made them great, IMO:
Of the more recent short sleeve era, I think the attention to a few smaller details, in '13, made these the best:
Today, the sleeves are even shorter, and again IMO, that itsy bitsy teeny tiger logo, above the stripes, is the worst thing about the current uniforms.

As a general rule, I’ve really liked our uniforms over the years. I didn’t care for the all yellow third jerseys, and I never liked eith of these two secondary logos:
Besides those few exceptions, I’ve really liked them over the years.

Yellow jersey aged like milk. Any remaining have faded to a weird pink colour.
Count me in the minority that likes both Greys.

I can’t join you in that minority liking either of the Greys, Crash, and I doubt you, or maybe even anyone, would stand with me in liking, as I did, the occasional appearance of this look, on Tasker, in a '15 road game:
While I don’t mind the very plain gold pants the team, now, often wears and appreciate the historical significance of them, I strongly dislike the stripeless blacks and whites, particularly when they’re worn with same-coloured jerseys.

Thoughts on the late 90s / early 00s? I didn’t like them at first but they grew on me. I especially liked the away jersey.

The pants, they wore, then, added to the overall look, particularly with your preferred white aways …
I thought the tiger faces, on the shoulders, might have been better placed, like the TOR logo was then, facing forward.

That uni’s from before my time but I like it. I can only imagine what it was like being a Cat fan back then. 
I never liked the shoulder logo epaulettes on any team.

I liked both greys as thirds used once or twice a season. I hated the tiger face on the late 90s shoulders.

I believe the team trotted out a throwback ‘70s-‘80s jersey sometime during the Kevin Glenn era, 2010 from what I saw. Stripes/sleeves weren’t quite there but I do like the gold helmet. Would like to see that again.

The team logo seams be off centre and canted to one side. Pick up the tigers rear feet and level it off.
