BENCH FAJARDO!

Yup! This is the second game where he cannot hit the side of a barn.
His accuracy sucks! Play Alexander right effin now!

Agree 1000%. He hasn’t been the same since coming back.

He was slow coming back from injury last year too. I wouldn’t bench him yet.

Show me any starter around the league who hasn’t had his share of struggles. Zach Collaros threw for like 128 yards and 4 INTs a few games ago and the Bombers managed to win the game nonetheless.

Fans are too driven by recency bias. Let Cody find his game. He’ll be OK.

I’m not defending Cody at all, but I would never want to play as a QB. It takes a different breed to play that position. One minute you could be winning the grey cup on a last minute drive and the next thing you know people are calling for you to be benched. It’s a very much “what have you done for me lately” world.

He’s being interviewed right now and he’s satisfied…

Why run the ball when your QB can average 6 to 7 yards a completion.

I’m defending Cody. It’s cuckoo to see the hate for him after a couple of poor games when there is no starting QB in the league who hasn’t gone through the same or much worse for a lot longer.

Fans need to check their recency bias, take a breath, and relax.

‘‘bench’’ Fajardo ou ‘‘fire’’ Fajardo?

First of all this is on Maas. Fajardo is having accuracy issues, second game in a row where he overthrows a wide open receiver in the end zone, this time the timing was also way late. So instead of running the football (Fletcher 90 yards on five carries). Maas keeps calling the same outs against defenses expecting it. The whole thing is non sense.

I agree, the playcalling has to change for Cody right now. Get him in rhythm, build his confidence back. He also had two receivers back in the lineup after a sizeable absence so there was bound to be rust there too.

I would really like AC to start calling plays but that won’t happen this year and maybe never. Maas strikes me as a bit of a control freak.

If something doesn’t change soon, this team will get punted out in the East Semi

Well, we’re still pretty comfortably in first place, so I wouldn’t start chicken littling just yet. But the offence needs to get itself together. No question.

Edit: It is insane to me that we didn’t run Fletcher more when he was having a lot of success on the ground.

And here I agree with you.

If they play this way… absolutely. Will be a quick exit.

If the offence executes a few more explosive plays and/or Maas runs the ball, we win this game comfortably and nobody is talking about the defence. But because we couldn’t muster more than 13 points in regulation time, somehow our defence is a problem? Very weird.

If Fletcher and Letcher hold on to the ball to start the game, perhaps the Stamps do not get off to a 10-0 start.

Yes…if Paredes hits 1 fg We’re 10-3.

Yup. If, if, if

I’m sure some will find a way to blame Cody for that too.
