Ben Cahoon demeurera à jamais un des plus grands joueurs de la LCF. Il est un gars simple, qui ne s'enfle pas la tête avec ses succès, un coéquipier hors pair qui fait toujours de la place pour ceux qui jouent avec lui et qui fait toujours passer l'équipe avant ses succès personnels. Il est un exemple pour tous sur le terrain et en-dehors du terrain et peut inspirer beaucoup de joueurs vers l'excellence.
Ce qui a de particulier dans son cas, c'est non seulement le nombre mais surtout la manière dont il a atteint cette marque. La quantité d'attrapés spectaculaires, voire impossibles qu'il a réussis dépasse tout ce qu'on a pu voir de tous les autres grands receveurs, de Gabriel à Stegal, en passant par Vaughn, Narcisse, Dalla Riva, Simon, et combien d'autres.
Que son record soit un jour battu ou non, Ben Cahoon est un immortel chez les Alouettes et chez tous les amateurs de football (j'ai bien dit "de football"...).

I'm not sure if it happened more than once
But I remember that one time he got clocked pretty hard
waiting for the ball to come to him
It stalled a drive and he took a big hit
Needlessly and dropped the ball
I'm sure if you worked with all our receivers
We'd be getting a lot less drops all around
