I agree 130 Duval had two very poor kicks and, missed a FG from fairly short in. Also, I believe we should have a Canadian at this position. There are a couple of interesting KFK guys in the upcoming Canadian draft. At least, I would I would like to see some competition at this position. Duval has held the job for several years and, he is not getting better. Perhaps he is on the downside and replacing him with a Canadian would be great for the budget!
There are two good kickers in this year’s draft, one of them I’ve seen him play since he was a kid and I saw him hit two 40 plus yard field goals in the same game last year. Justin Palardy from SMU rewrote the record books in the Atlantic Conference and he’s been coached and mentored by Terry Baker. I’m not sure if his punting is CFL ready but his place kicking is. I would not be surprised if Calgary took him early if Sandro goes south.
