Looks like the Bears are going to be looking at other options for a stadium.

It’s just a matter of time before the NFL decides to take over the CFL. Then they can make a NFL stadium with room enough for a CFL field

It’s all bluster. The Bears already own the Arlington Heights property (which is an ideal location, near major roads and a train line) and Naperville would be an absolute nightmare (land is more expensive and it’s filled with NIMBYs).
They’re just trying to get handouts by using this as leverage. Ain’t gonna work.
