Duval is our guy; 33-10 Edmonton over Lions now.
Edit; just posted this and it's way behind oilerrockers two posts at 6:25 P.M.. It will be fixed some "TIME".
We are weak at LB, and if they had read our comments before the game the Lions might have exploited our weakness, but of course they are led by Wally Buono so thank goodness they did not do so.
That was a long accurate throw by Lulay but quite a wobbler. Our secondary man screwed that up just that bad that it still found its target in Foster. :thdn: :thdn: :thdn:
Hey Paolo X; I wonder if Chief can set up a private forum for our comments talk on where we are weak and such. That way only the Eskie coaches can read it..........Just saying
Yeah good idea! Our team kicks ass but we can help them out for sure. Chief can you talk to the folks at MRX and help us out? Too bad we don’t have that Jett around anymore.
But on the otherhand, maybe they are getting someone to read our forum and relay the message back. But still we shouldn’t take any chances. So Chief: “HELLO”============= 33-10 Edmonton final. Next up is Calgary at McMahon
Congrats Edmonton! I can't see many/any weaknesses and it's been fun to watch Ricky Ray work his magic and get these crazy good numbers. Edmonton vs. Calgary next week, somebody's gotta lose!
Agreed on the tackles Oiler, but what run on BC I would ask until the Eskie defence slacked off in the second half to some degree before Foster’s TD catch. :x
On the balance, we are still weak there I say. It’s not good enough yet for Grey Cup material.
Well both Montreal and Edmonton beat Saskatchewan on the road by 14 points and both beat the lions at home, Edmonton had a bigger spread but they also had game film on the lions to watch. At this early point in the season it looks like Ray and Calvillo may resume their Grey Cup duels. It will be interesting to see if Edmonton has the depth to keep rolling all season but they look very good.
I probably owe ET an apology. There were some moves I liked and some I didn't, and I made some jokes, but let's be real. This team has exceeded expectations. Now, Edmonton could very well lose its next 4-5 games, whatever, but it's unlikely. Out of all the teams, I think Edmonton is the most impressive. That said, I still think Montreal is the top team.
I say enjoy it while it lasts. We'll likely lose next week in Calgary, but right now we're 3-0. I'll celebrated tonight and tomorrow. Come Monday it's back to business. We have Calgary. Time to game-plan.
It's quite obvious the eskimos are a lot better than I gave them credit for earlier. At the same time though, it's still early in the season. BC youth and lack of desire to implement the run will coninue to hamper success. Edmonton was full value for their win and have won all 3 of their games in blowout fashion.
Either they're catching people napping or they're better than exoected, maybe a bit of both.
Hey Chief…being a Rider fan and part time esk fan , I’ll say it again…2 years you have a cup with ET at the helm. I certainly miss him in Sask right now thats for sure! Also, not sure if anyone saw it but after the Esk TD and Photo Op celebration in the endzone, Kavis took one of them aside and gave it to him telling him to tone it down. Classy! This team is already on fire!
