Danny Barrett, from all reports I have heard, was a nice guy and gave a lot back to his community. That's all fine and good, but he didn't win squat, and had a losing record......nice guy or not, football is first and foremost a business, and not producing a winning team will get you axed every time.....
I'd rather have a prick of a coach who produces wins than a cheerleader coach who can't win for trying.

I think the Riders could promote from within, especially with Cortez and Hall being prime candidates. One these two would make excellent head coaches, Kent Austin would not be a good fit here. Dave Ritchie might be a good choice as well. Maybe Tillman will suprise us all and bring back PaoPao… :lol:
