Bugger, we blew it at the end. Great game, I don't mind losing those. Would have been nice if our recivers/runningbacks could hold onto catches in the first half or the game may have ended differently.
Ah well, that's football.
Indy is my NFL team, and since I'm not a real big fan of either Montreal or B.C. (especially B.C.), I decided to watch the NFL game.
Well that was fun.
B&!
Good game. Kudos to Montreal for pulling out a win at the end there.
I don't mind losing to a good team when we play like we did. I'm really liking the way we are playing these last couple games. The D is tight, Jarious is showing more than his usual one dimensional 'go for the bomb' play style, and our running game has really taken off.
If we continue to play like we have, I think we can complete with any team in league, which should make for an interesting rest of the season.
Agreed! Yeah bad timing to choke on D but otherwise a great game for both teams. We aren’t as good as we were last year but we certainly have improved over week 1!
Sorry to say this Lions fans. You lost. Whether you lose by 1 or 60 it is still a loss. You are now mired in last place in the West.
Your offence was mediocre again. You need a qb bad. At this point the Lions look like the basement dwellers for the remainder of the season. What happened to the mighty lions swagger. Paris Jackson was a non-factor and quit after one interception. He did not even attempt to chase after the interception. Get up and play to the whistle. Wally should have benched him. They really miss YOU KNOW WHO - WHO NOW NOT ONLY LIVES IN REGINA BUT PLAYS FOR THE RIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let me ask you would he have quit on an interception??????? The Lions are in big trouble. Their lucky win at home aside they should be 3-7. Sad times on the WetCoast. :cowboy:
Turkey, ordinarily, I just shrug your posts off, but some of your recent posts about the Lions have been more... aggressive? What's the deal? All the B.C. fans are saying is the Lions played better today than they have in the past. Nothing wrong with that. You might think the Lions are stuck in the basement, but the Eskimos might have something to say about that. The Lions are improving slightly while the Eskimos are on the verge of completely falling apart. The Lions could move into third, maybe even second. I wouldn't count them out just yet. Only two games separate all four Western teams, and we still have 8 weeks remaining.
You used to be funny.
I wouldn’t brag about getting Clermont. He is done as a receiver. Too many knocks over too many years. Wally knew that and wouldn’t pay him the money he mistakenly thought he deserved. He is willing to play in Regina for next to nothing, because he wants to be in the same city as his real job. Flogging houses that nobody wants. Mind you, you have to give the guy credit, selling houses in Regina must be a really tough job. Come to Regina we have … er … um … some lakes around here and the highest crime rate per capita in Canada …
I’m glad you don’t take yourself seriously.
