"Team psychologist Dr. Frank Lodato, who lives in Florida, missed training camp this year. He'll meet the team in Hamilton for his first look at the squad this season."

I've never heard of teams having psychologists. :roll:

What can he say?.......hit harder ?....score more often ?........hang onto the ball ?.....stay on-side ?....don't miss blocking assignments ?....don't miss tackles ?...protect the quarterback ?............run your routes ?.....don't take selfish penalties ?

That pretty much covers it I think :lol:

I think it’s pretty common in the big money sports leagues. Just do a google search on “nfl” and “team psychologist”. I remember hearing talk of this on TV back in the 80s.

The Simpsons even made fun of the practice in the episode they did with all the baseball cameos back in 1992.

If he needs crayons for player to express themselves during group sessions, Ron Trentini dropped a few when he arced back onto the curb upon landing outside IWS.

:D :D :D

I Spy,

Tell Bob to get Tony Robbins and then we could go all the way! 8)

8) While Dr. Lodato is in Hamilton, maybe he can Arland on his couch for some in depth analysis !!!
  Perfect timing for both parties  !!!!        <!-- s:wink: -->:wink:<!-- s:wink: -->
