Attendance Week 12

With 3 games coming from the west and a top-notch crowd out of TO for retro night, the CFL did really well this weekend.

135,521 total attendance for the 4 games

Average week this season has been 99,085. That total hasn't been seen in a weekend except in Big-O weeks. Although combining BOTH bye weeks was 139,034 (on the strength of no Hamilton or Montreal games).

BC beat out Edmonton in attendance for the 2nd time this season. Every week there has been a game in BC and Edmonton, Sask has been involved in one of them, and swayed the game to be a larger crowd. They don't go head to head again this year.

BC has hosted the biggest crowd of the week 5 times, and played for the biggest crowd 7 times, played in front of 2 sellouts and a total of 390,680 fans

Calgary has hosted the biggest crowd 3 times, played for the biggest crowd 4 times, 3 sellouts, and a total of 406,182 fans.

Edmonton has hosted the biggest crowd 4 times, played for the big crowd 6 times and played in front of 2 sellouts and 438,068 fans.

Sask has hosted the biggest crowd once, played for the big crowd 6 times, in front of 8 sellouts and 416,016 fans.

Next week could see Sask host the biggest crowd (yes Calgary fans, that is a bit of a challenge to you guys). If the temporary seating were available earlier in the year, they would have had the capacity to take top spot in weeks 1 and 7 as well.
