attendance for todays game

So it's finally game day and i'm so pumped for a new season! 1st off Happy Canada Day to everyone!!!! So I was curious, i'll keep it simple...With today being a holiday and many ppl out of the city, what do u think the attendance will be, or better yet, does anyone know what the ticket sales number is at right now or expected to be? I thought I heard over 25,000, but I could be wrong. I'm always disappointed when I see anything less then 25,000 especially this year because I think we have a team with great great potential full of superstars. I really hope everyone shows up today, it's beautiful weather, and what a better day to kick off the ticats season. Oskee Wee Wee!

Show up and MAKE NOISE!The is an important factor in the game just like a DB is, just like a QB is, just like a WR is, Bruce wouldn't take a day off so why should you?Have some fun, enjoy Canada day with the ones you love and GET LOUD!!! :rockin: :rockin:

I agree! When our offence is on the field…SHHHHHHH unless its after a big play, but on defence BE LOUD!!! The exhibition game was a joke how quiet it was, lets be the 13th man!!!

Yup, not soccer where you sing during the game to prevent you from falling asleep most of the time.

Ah soccer is ok, feel bad for the women getting trounced by France.

26,000, the weather is perfect and the team is pumped. I have been waiting 7 mths for this day. We are bringing 11, including my 3 yr. old grandaughter to her first game. Hope everyone else brings extra people as well.

8)

Bringing Pats fans from Mass. to the seaons opener…may have some rule explaining to do

Won't say anything.

Ok, I'll bite, Hamilton isn't Boston and IWS isn't whatever stadium where the Pats play is called. But us proud Cat fans and Hamilton fans are proud of our city nevertheless. :cowboy:

Near sell out, why not.

I wish it were a sell-out, but I have my doubts. I'll say 25,750.

That is a good crowd, let's hope they all go home sad.

I can just hear the awww dammit! from Winnipeg now, music to my ears

I guessing it be bit under 25,000 24,845

Real question is what is the REAL attendance vs paid attendance. Both numbers should be shown or they should show the REAL attendance numbers vs the paid for........it's embarassing when they state attendance numbers when people aren't really in the seats.

:cowboy: I'll call 23,220 as PAID attendance.
8) Actual announced attendance was a little over 23,000.
Disapointing, and disgraceful to say the least !!

Then again, maybe all those folks who didn't pay good money to witness this fiasco were the smart ones !!!

…those notes must have turned a little sour…watch out for the Bombers in 2011  big guy

Yeeouch! 23,852. Not good.

Montreal was even worse last night. 22,317 :thdn:

The league continues to struggle. Don't let Cohn & clan suger coat the obvious.

yes, the league seems to be losing traction at the gate, but improving in all other aspects..strange.

I’m sorry they were exposed to that poor excuse of a football game.
