Atnas Maeko: Voyage of Hope

OK, no one has posted anything about this article so I'm coming out of my hibernation to do it.

Just a few observations:

  1. I really hope this guy makes the team. If he has the football skills, there's no doubting his heart. It sounds like Atnas is the kind of guy you'd want both in the locker room and in the community.

  2. All professional athletes who claim to be facing "adversity" whenever their team is hit by a few injuries, a 3-game losing streak or some bad press, should take a look at a story like this to learn what adversity really means.

  3. Decent job by Ken Peters in capturing this story. Those of us who take the odd jab at him should also try the positive reinforcement approach and give a pat on the back when we like his articles.
