It’s game day for this historic tradition. Always nice to check out the unis each team wears. This year, Army is honouring the 101st Airborne on the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. Navy is going with unis recognizing the naval aviators in VFA 103 Jolly Rogers squadron.
On a personal note (even though i am retired Canadian Forces Air Reserve ): Go Army - Beat Navy.
Thank you for your service for Canada.
Thank you. Looks like a Navy win today.
Couldn’t watch it (household chores)
Who won and final score?
Navy 31
Army 13
Navy QB Blake Horvath looked very sharp. Good game management 4 TDs. After his service, he has the makings of a very good pro QB.
I think this one game should be the only game allowed to use battle-mech suits…
Army, Navy and Air Force play Div I football but few seem to play pro. Roger Staubach comes to mind who played QB for Dallas Cowboys. I believe there was a star RB who also played in the NFL after finishing his service, but his name evades me.
Should have had another TD. Got called back on a ticky-tack holding call.
Eddie Meyers
Always wondered why they armed forces in Canada couldn’t field a team(s) that would play in U Sport
We use to. Royal Military College in Kingston still plays Hockey but has dropped out in Football as they couldn’t compete anymore.
Don’t recall that name.
Napoleon McCallum - played for the Raiders in the 1980s.
Why is that? Not enough players? Financial reasons?
That’s the guy I was thinking of.
He was my classmate. Great athlete. Was also a great wrestler in HS. Also saw him jump 7 ft in the High Jump at the Plebe Summer Track Meet. If he didn’t have that gruesome leg injury on MNF, he was definitely going to have a nice NFL career.
