Armond Armstead retires at 23

Former Argo and GC winning CFL All-Star Armond Armstead announced his retirement today, a few weeks shy of his 24th birthday and a year after joining the NFL Pats on a 3 year $1.5 million dollar contract.

reasons were not disclosed, although I suspect he may still have lingering medical issues from a previous heart attack.

That's too bad, he had great talent. Hopefully he could get into coaching.

Very unfortunate. I really enjoyed watching him play in Toronto for the Grey Cup run. As mentioned above hopefully he can remain in football in some capacity.
