ok this is what i'd do, cut Maas, use his salary to sign Printers, see how Timmy does, if he shows enough to prove he is a future allstar in this league I'd then trade Printers to either Saskatchewan or Calgary for a right tackle, a go to wide reciever, a 1st round draft choice and a defensive player.
How do you plan on getting Printers? He's in the NFL.
good thing you are only an armchair gm. First Printers isn't even available yet. Secondly, no team is going to give up that much to get him if we did. But that's a moot point cos he's not even on our roster.
I forgot the if Printers is released part lol.
I don't think a released Printers would come to a 1-7 team without some indication he would have the keys to the car, so this idea he would watch Chang audition from the sidelines to determine whether he himself would be trade bait is a little too armchair for me. LOL
Not a good way to attract stars to a team, but I digress.

That’s why you tell him the job is his once he’s ready lol-no q.b would be able to come in and be able to start right away. And if Chang is lighting it up you trade Printers.

I know this is only "what if" but....you have it backwards. If Printers is signed we start him and then trade Chang for a proven O-lineman. Keep Williams. We KNOW what Printers can do....no apprenticeship needed.
