Fans are encouraged to arrive early as the festivities will officially begin at 12:00 noon on Saturday during an exciting pre-game party outside Gate 11. There will be a live DJ, $5 beer specials, Marc Angelo gourmet sausages, face painters, the 2012 Argos Cheerleaders, presented by the Toronto Sun, and plenty of Double Blue fans to celebrate the afternoon! Be sure to get inside the stadium in time for kickoff as the first 10,000 fans will receive a limited edition Home Opener rally towel.

What a great game and a good time was had by all. :rockin:

Perhaps as a sign of league Unity next season the Argos whould invite the netier Hamilton regualr season ticket holder to both nome games as their guest. Opening the third level of seats stretching rome goal line to goal line to goal line on their teams home side and also make available tickets in the same area for other Hamilton fans for a third level ticket rate. Have two tailgate parties one on the Argos home side and the other on the Hamilton home side. Certainly will be a show of good will by the Argos and the CFL as Hamilton's losest Home games may be in London teo hrs away. the Labor day game or week after wichever is scheduled would be a great time. with the Hamilton Radio network live at the Tailgate party before the game. A great atmosphere and something that could turn into a tradition putting peaple in the seats, Seats that would other wise go unused. It may also persuade the average Argo fan to but one of the 31,000 plus tickets on levels one and two that has become their football capacity. They may not get revenue from the tickets put concessions, parking and merchandise would bring in revenu
This could possibly turn into a tradion. May even be able to do it this season if they hurry especially with the game being shown on NBC sports Nework. The Calgary game on Labor day will be sold out and the friday after in Edmonton fills most of the stadiums regualr football capacity the friday after. be a good start for the new US TV partner to see.
Again just an idea. The NFL has these 60,000 fans but how many are really paying for tickets. Revenue is made in other ways at games.
Just an Idea to put people into the seats at the larger facilities and for a good cause.
