Peewee Smith was on the Fan and suggested Davis was cut due to some inside issues with the Cats....gee wonder what that was
Davis was cut cause he could not Block.
I was listening to the Hogan show as well, and Peewee said that he heard a rumour that there was a non-football performance reason involved in the release of Jerome (although his play was sub-par)
When Hogan asked that if the rumour he heard was true did it justify his release, and Smith said yes it would.
Reading between the lines (and an article in Star) the following blurb
"Whenever the Toronto Argonauts bumped into the Ticats this season, Hamilton offensive tackle Jerome Davis had to make a point of kicking by the Argo bench for a few words with coach Pinball Clemons or his one-time teammates.
"He, indeed, did – and on more than one occasion," Clemons recalled. "And there was a hint that he just might like to stay on that sideline. Fortunately, now he can."
It also went on to say that he rooted for certain Argos this year. He joked for fantasy purposes.
Sounds like a doble (Blue) agent to me.
Was he tipping off plays??
Or just letting Argos by him in waves??
Should the CFL investigate??

Although i cant imagine not one player not wishing he was on the other team sideline this year, but davis did sign here there is a time after the game where you can talk to old friends etc if he was tipping of plays well is very deserving of a release and all of it is it shows your heart isnt with the team who signed you
Don't forget Wayne Shaw. Released after single handingly giving the Argos two TD's, he was then signed and is still with them. Both him and Davis played there way back on to a winning team. Smart, smart.
Isnt it funny how bad he played with us and he goes back to toronto and will probrally play awesome?Hmmmmm sounds fishy enough that only a boatman can do!
