That would be a big loss for the bombers…

Seem to recall rumours last year about a potential power struggle inside of the organization. If I’m wrong I apologize in advance.

Nah. We covered this in the Bomber thread. I for one think it’s probably the right time for him to move on. Not a lot of crying going on in Bomber Land over this. He’s been great for us, but all good things must come to an end and new blood would not be a bad thing. Some fans may disagree, but as I said, haven’t heard a lot of that so far.

Have to disagree with you Jon. I sure hope we can keep MOS.
Do you not remember the decade (and multiple coaches) before him? Well I know I wish I could forget…
I’m not at all interested in going thru the coach carousel again.

Im not either. The key will be to hire a good one rather than some of the duds of the past.

I’m really not worried if he chooses to leave. It’s been a good run.

No GM ever thinks they are hiring a dud.

Apparently, he has an offer in Winnipeg too.

Despite that professional hit man here on this forum that keeps trying to assinate his abilities, Mike has got What be required to succeed. Every team wants what Mike brings to the table.

'Cats need a GM as well, could possibly entice him by offering both jobs … Clemons and Murphy (have to assume John does the heavy lifting and Michael is more the “face”) would have to give up their jobs for Toronto to match such an offer; ditto Walters in Winnipeg.

GM positions always offer a bit more security that a HC gig since a GM always gets at least one HC change.

Uh oh…

I guess that’s it for this thread.

Sometimes the constant that prevails. Good on them to re-up.

Off to the next candidate or so..
