After several days of hype, the Argos and Montreal Alouettes play today at Olympic Stadium before an expected crowd of more than 50,000 in a game which will all but lock up first place in the East Division for the winning team. (TV, 3 p.m. ET on CBC).
“When you get to this point where both teams are 9-6 and you’re only a couple weeks from the end of the season and first place is really on the line, you expect that to make this potentially one of the best of the matchups thus far,” Argos head coach Pinball Clemons said.
“I would say that whoever wins this game would certainly be the odds-on favourite to host the Eastern final,” Als head coach Don Matthews said.
if it was for 1st place, and infront of 50 000 people....then it would be the main event....BUT ITS NOT.
its for 3RD infront of less than 30 000...your argument is paper-thin.
Your team is playing like what was on McCallums driveway.
Its gonna be a slaughter. LOL Unless Damon gets his act
together. Seems like he's just going through the motions lately.
I hope this game is as good as it could be, but i have my doubts.
I'll talk to you on MOnday and will let you know which was the
Main event. Deal?
eh, HELLO THERE.....looks like the argos are in good position ( after 1 quarter ) to host the east division finals, AND move up in my power rankings ( to #2 )!!!
if the argos win today, when do the playoff tickets go on sale?
