The new uniforms are fine. Too bad the Argos do not have a fan base the supports the team.

too bad the team owners don’t seem to care about an actual fan base.

despite the look, i’m glad some of the teams are bringing in new updated uniform looks. i’m a bit surprised the Ticats don’t have a special edition GC uni or some update this year. are they still doing the special edition H hammer unis and helmet?

Wow. Just saw TSN article. Nice f**## unis ! Yahoo. The boats are back. The oars are rowin’. The boyz 'll Pull Together.

I actually like them except I would prefer to see white pants with the home jersey and the blue pants with the away jersey. Not too sure about the rowing oars on the sleeve but at least we can say that CFL uniforms are never dull.

Jerseys are ok. Lots of little details.
One thing with the light blue, they could get away with only one jersey for home and away. Dark enough for home, light enough for away jerseys.

Oh.

Yeah I little too much Cambridge Blue. I think Oxford jerseys will go nicely with the Cambridge helmets.

Like anything else I’ll get used to it

I agree with the people who say too much Cambridge blue. When I first saw the pic of the players in the new unis, I thought that the design on the shoulder was supposed to be a
pair of stylized wings. Now that I see that they are oars, they seem a bit goofy. If these are the regular unis, I hate to image what any special occasion jersey will look like. :face_vomiting:

Not bad, I don’t hate 'em. The paddle pants are a nice touch. I would’ve like the insignia on the shoulder as opposed to the number.

Back then they at least had the dark helmets to break up the look a bit and the socks were white. Not a big fan of the unitard look for any team.

The Argos are 7-0 in Grey Cups since 1983. Why would they drop the dark uniform? This is no homage to any of those championship seasons.

The oar pattern is similar to the alternate feather design that the Alouettes wisely abandoned. Unnecessary, amateurish, and especially not a good look as fan apparel. As a side note, I’m not so sure that the Blue Jays’ powder blue jersey is a popular seller.

Edit: 8-0.

Should’ve made the Cambridge blue design their 3rd uniform and stuck with the regular ones they’ve been using for the past few years.
